Pop singer Martin Kemp64, was rushed to the hospital because of a chainsaw accident, says Mirror. Kemp, known from the band The Spandau Ballet, had tried to cut a tree branch with a saw when the accident happened.
Son Roman Kemp says in the podcast that his father picked up a chainsaw that didn’t have a cover on it. Poppari had just turned it on and the saw suddenly went full blast. Martin Kemp screamed and ran Shirley-his wife’s leg bleeding. He had to go to the hospital to get a tetanus shot.
– Fortunately, he didn’t lose his finger. I know a guy who lost his finger in such a situation, the star’s son Roman Kemp commented on the You About podcast.
He reveals that the father still tried to hide what happened from the family. The singer sent her children a mysterious picture of the hand in the package in the family Whatsapp group.
– It was scary. On Friday night I had finished work and looked at my phone. Dad sent a picture of his hand with his fingers tied. He just wrote underneath that “yup, a chainsaw…”, said Roman Kemp.
– I texted him and asked what the hell. He didn’t answer and my sister got worried too. He still didn’t answer. Then he said he wanted to cut the branch.
The boy was not impressed by the abduction.
– He is 65 years old. He’s done enough already. Get a professional to do things like that, the boy is boring.
