Confused man in his thirties walks on a level crossing and is hit by a slow train in Dendermonde

A man in his thirties was seriously injured on Sunday evening after being hit by a train in the East Flemish town of Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde. The man was walking around in panic when he suddenly crossed the railway crossing just as a train was pulling out to stop at the nearby station. His life was not in danger.
