My husband comes home from a trip. He immediately puts away all his things, and then he talks about a program on the radio about women who discovered later in life that they had ADHD. My husband says: “All the examples made me think, that’s exactly you: chaos and poor planning.” He wonders if I shouldn’t go to the doctor too. The women on the radio benefited from medicine. I say I don’t want that, why would I do that? “Then you might get a better life,” he says. To which my son says from the couch: “Yes, maybe you will have a better life.”
