It was a short day at work on Sunday for Immanuel Pherai. Substitution, yellow card, yellow-red card – all within two minutes. The second yellow card in particular gets people heated. Because Pherai clearly slips away and that’s why he hits his opponent. Viera’s dismissal was also controversial
Hamburg’s Fabio Vieira gets the second yellow-red card because he complains to the referee, Daniel Schlager. In this case, the Bundesliga Update team is of the opinion that this sending off is clear negligence on the part of the HSV player and therefore no reason for complaints.
