Yle’s sports reporter Nora Toivo shares his deep thoughts on his Instagram post.
Toivo states right at the beginning of his update that he is ready to be without a relationship for the rest of his life. Toivo talked about her and her husband’s divorce earlier this year.
– I will die alone. I came to this conclusion yesterday on the Kalle dance floor. And it certainly wasn’t because there weren’t any takers. No. Among other things, 25-year-old Mario would have gladly taken me home. But when you’re not interested at all, Toivo states in his writing.

Toivo says that he is no longer ready to give up a moment of his time with his toddler child. Not even then, even if he starts to be interested in a relationship.
– As a career-making mother of a child, there are not many places to give that time and energy. However, the previous spouse was searched for a good year. And it was still a colossal miscalculation. Although it left the most wonderful thing in life, i.e. Mini. And a lot of lessons about what I don’t really want, what I want and growth as a person and other clichés, the editor writes.
Toivo feels that relationships are over for him. He experiences relief and longing at the same time.
– Even though a wonderful relationship is the most wonderful in the world, you could have a wonderful life until the grave without it. And that’s a comforting thought, the journalist reflects.
– I made a dream map yesterday and there was no point in a relationship. All the therapy work and other work has gone so that I am alone. The goal is to be the superwoman of my own life. That’s good enough. Somehow I also feel as a mother that my job is to be that safety and balance for Mini. I would never want to bring people into his life who will leave after a year or two. However, as a mother, the difference always falls on two people. It would be horrible to do that to that little man, he adds at the end.

In October, Toivo told his social media followers that he had started anti-depressant medication about three months earlier. Toivo and her husband divorced a month before the sports reporter participated in the Special Forces program.
In August, Toivo told Iltalehti that he had considered withdrawing from the program due to the breakup. The sports journalist admitted that the divorce had a big impact on his performance in the competition and his preparation for filming.
– I started training three months before filming. I had time to train for two months when the separation came. I had panic and anxiety attacks, didn’t sleep and lost a lot of weight. I had to take sick leave from work, and I couldn’t exercise almost at all. In terms of my mental endurance, I was in really bad shape, Toivo recalled in an interview with Iltalehti.
