The race got even more lively yesterday. And also the reactions to the votes of the jury, made up as always of Carolyn Smith, Ivan Zazzaroni, Fabio Canino, Selvaggia Lucarelli and Guillermo Mariotto. The competitors, however, always have the people’s tribunes on their side: Rossella Erra, Matteo Addino and Sara Di Vaira, yesterday more than ever the protagonist.
It is Massimiliano Rosolino, sent to the star room, to read the final ranking. At the top is Fabio Fognini, who also gets half a treasure earned by the two dancers for one night Claudia Gerini and Claudia Pandolfi, by Alberto Matano. The other half goes to Marcella Bella, from Rossella Erra. And in the end, “tough, strong and independent”, Marcella overtakes Martina Colombari and Barbara D’Urso, both with a standing ovation performance yesterday. But real, not of those fomented by the “crowd-warming” of the Rai Auditorium.
Beppe Convertini is the first eliminated from Dancing with the Stars 2025
The seventh episode on Saturday 8 November will open with the play-off between Mrs. Coriandoli and Nancy Brilli. Although Milly Carlucci had anticipated two eliminations after reading the final rankings, this did not happen.
In the end it turned out that between Beppe Convertini, Nancy Brilli and Emma Coriandoli, last in the combined ranking (jury and social media) only those who would have received the fewest social votes (on Facebook, X and Instagram, where there was no shortage of suspicious likes last night too) he would have left the race. Sara Di Vaira saves Mrs. Coriandoli. Rating 4
Last night Sara Di Vaira he has decided that dancing is beautiful, but power is better. And you used hers, sure enough, she used it! The wild card, for those who don’t know, is a rare privilege: one per season, only one, to be taken out to save just one eliminated couple. Yesterday Sara used it to fish out Mrs. Coriandoli at the beginning of the episode. Vaira is the people’s tribune but last night, more than vox populi it seemed like “vox testa sua”.
His choice, in fact, raised more than one eyebrow. Was the idea noble? Perhaps. The effect was that of a heartfelt move which however was seen on social media as a low blow to the regulation. Translated: from champion of the public to “why are you doing it?” it’s a moment. More than a wild card, it seemed like a card drawn from the wrong deck.
Paolo Belli and Massimiliano Rosolino (Rai)
Paolo Belli feels cool. Rating 8
«Despite what someone thinks, I no longer recognize who I was four months ago, I also feel cool»: Paolo Belli who declares himself cool in the clip is already a spectacle. But it’s not bravadoit’s awareness. Then he enters the stage and the sensation becomes certainty: when he dances the Charleston choreography that Anastasia Kuzmina created for their performance, Paolo Belli is seriously cool.
Halfway through the performance she changes her shoes to wear a white pair, with a platform and heel: «But are they those of the Campagna cousins?» asks Fabio Canino. Or are they magic shoes? Because he dances better than all the other times he has danced, without even the favor of the jury that seemed to have targeted him. Yesterday he silenced them too. In the end all five of them and Guillermo reward him Mariotto, honest like few other times in his career as a juror Dancing with the starseven gives it a 10. Which is also valid as compensation for the (too) low ratings of the previous episodes.
Francesca Fialdini dances halfway. Rating 6
«There is bitterness, there is also a bit of sadness, in the right proportions»: Francesca Fialdini hurt herself at practice on Friday and took to the track last night in heroin mode. No victimization, just a half jive on one leg. Literally. As Milly Carlucci explained, the injury prevents her from placing her right foot. He could have stayed on the side of the track to make a presence or tried anyway. And she chose to try.
The choreography, more than a dance, seems like a personal challenge to pain. Yet, despite everything, together with the maestro Giovanni Pernice he brings home a fragment of the performance. Small, sure, but useful for staying in the race. Ivan Zazzaroni is brilliant: «You took more steps than two that I know». She says she doesn’t know if he’ll come back. If he didn’t, it would be a shame.
Fabio Fognini is now a true showman. Vote 10
He didn’t start among the seeded teams Dancing with the stars yet, episode after episode, Fabio Fognini entered the game. And now he gets everyone to agree: the other contestants love him, the public too and even the jury is on his side. «Your presence will bring many people to dance» Fabio Canino tells him while Selvaggia Lucarelli, who did not have such high expectations of him, said she was amazed at his progress: «You have surprised me».
But what surprises, more than the steps taken well, is his attitude. The former tennis player who could have played until he was fifty as world number one Carlos Alcaraz (not really a passing guy) said here he doesn’t take himself seriously but he takes the show seriously, also thanks to the teacher Giada Lini. And so “Fogna” found another field in which to win, lightly and without ever talking about previous dramas.
It’s the perfect competitor for Dancing with the stars: he has no shortage of charisma and self-irony. But now that he has learned to dance and does it very well, he has also entered the list of possible winners.
