Her face is one that is never forgotten, even if Denise Weinberg is certainly not an international starAnd. However, the determination that can be seen in his eyes can illuminate this unusual film, set in a not so distant future, where the director (certainly not a debutant, in Italy his film Boi Neon passed to the Venice Film Festival in 2016) imagine that the Brazilian government wants to offer elderly people a future of peace and rest.
So, as soon as you reach retirement age, it forces them to stop working and then transfers them to distant housing colonies from their places of habitual residence. A “holiday” which cannot be escaped, but which the strong-willed Tereza is not willing to accept, so much so that she begins a solitary escape: first she finds a lift from a smuggler who goes up the Amazon River, then she hides in the boat of a curious seller of electronic Bibles, elderly like her, with whom she hopes to cover her traces.

What if the general picture is that of a country that, behind its promises, essentially wants to get rid of its no longer young inhabitantsthe skill of the protagonist knows how to convey a message of rebellion and love for life that warms the heart.
For those who want to deal with the desires of the elderly.
