According to what AGI has learned, the 35-year-old is expected to return to the snow in the second half of the month

Federica Brignone will return to skis “not before mid-November”, as reported by AGI, learning it from her entourage. Already the idea of being able to find snow again is a step forward towards the impossible challenge: that of trying to participate in the Milan Cortina Games. Brignone was injured on April 3rd in the second heat of the Assoluti giant slalom in Val di Fassa, suffering a multi-fragmentary displaced fracture of the tibial plateau and the fibula head of her left leg and a cruciate ligament injury. Federica is undergoing rehabilitation at the “J Medical” center in Turin where she met Marta Bassino, who also injured her leg (fracture of the tibial plateau) and is already certain of saying goodbye to her Olympic dream.
