ASM International had already warned at the Investor Day in September that the order inflow was disappointing. With its high-end customers, TSMC, Samsung and Intel, Intel is cautious due to the problems there. The market is still weak at the low end. This is partly due to China, where demand is normalizing again after a major investment wave.
