In recent weeks he tried to prepare well. He watched debates, read party programs and talked about politics with friends. “I want to vote for a party that values freedom, equality and respect,” he says.
Yet the moment itself is what touches him most. “When I cast my vote later, I think I will be proud. Proud that I can now also help decide the future of this country.” For Mustafa it is a small ballot, but a big step in his life.
