Former Belgian football player Eden Hazard was elected to the English Premier League Hall of Fame.

34-year-old Hazard won the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League twice, and the League and the Federation Cup once each, with Chelsea between 2012 and 2019.

In his statement about his selection to the Hall of Fame, Hazard said, “It means a lot to me. I am very proud to join this group of players. I think we can create a good team.” he said.

Jose Mourinho, who coached Chelsea, which won the championship in the 2014-15 season with Hazard’s squad, said: “You are one of the most amazing players I have ever worked with and of course you should be there. You have entered the Hall of Fame, you will remain in our memories. By the way, thank you very much for helping me win my last Premier League championship.” He commented:

With Hazard, the number of names elected to the English Premier League Hall of Fame increased to 26.
