Before the game – National coach Wück can use defense chief Janina Minge from VfL Wolfsburg, who was recently suspended. As a result, FC Bayern midfielder Linda Dallmann had to leave due to illness.
Before the game – Germany is preparing for “angry” French women. “I think they want to make up for something. We expect a stormy team,” said national coach Wück in advance. The 52-year-old is hoping for possible mistakes by the opponent and “possibly giving up space that we then want to use.”
