Listen to Berlin: Awards 2025 – the most important information at a glance
The pre-selection of the nominated artists for the “Best Song by a Berlin Act” category of the awards ceremony has already been made by some music journalists. However, the crowd decides the winner. From October 27th to November 6th you can vote for your favorite song. Anyone who would like to vote you can do that now via this link here choose your own favorite.
The award ceremony will take place on November 11, 2025 in the Kesselhaus of the Kulturbrauerei – and it will only be announced on this evening who will take this award home with them.
Anniversary category: “Best song by a Berlin act”
To mark the tenth anniversary of the Listen to Berlin: Awards 2025, the organizers have created the “Best Song by a Berlin Act” category. Olaf Kretschmar, managing director of the Berlin Music Commission, explains that the aim is to “capture the musical pulse of the city more precisely”. The jury put a diverse mix on the shortlist. The award ceremony will take place on November 11, 2025
Moderator Diona Bathily and rapper MC Fitti lead the audience through the evening. Live performances by Charlotte Colace, Headjet, Lyhre and Puppetmastaz will provide musical accompaniment during the awards ceremony. It starts at 6 p.m. and the event will be broadcast live on ALEX Berlin.
