The silent cocoons are a place on the playground where children who need it can relax for a while. Nature, traffic and children playing in the distance and the rest: nothing. Gwenny Van Collie, Drie Hofsteden Primary School Kortrijk: “The idea actually came from our student parliament. We meet once a month with children from all classes. And from there the request arose to create a place on the playground where they can quietly occupy themselves, relax, in their words: chill out.”
