A 33-year-old and a 30-year-old man from Hoogeveen were arrested for assault on Grote Kerkstraat in Hoogeveen last Thursday. A 46-year-old man from Hoogeveen was injured.
The victim was taken to hospital after the assault, a police spokesperson said. The two men in their thirties have been released, but remain suspects in the investigation.
