The woman disappeared more than a week and a half ago. Because her whereabouts remained unknown, the police started a large-scale search in the area between Hollandsche Rading and Hilversum.
Came home independently
The Veterans Search Team (VST), an organization of volunteers who are called in when people go missing, was deployed on Friday. About eighty volunteers helped search in the Einde Gooi forest and nature reserve.
The police say that the woman has been found again. “She came home independently,” the police reported on X.
