But what awaits us in Dracula – Lost Love? Certainly not the classic horror: Luc Besson’s vision is a romantic melodrama and visionary. The story begins in the 15th century, when Prince Vladimir (played by Caleb Landry Jones) loses his beloved wife Elisabeta (Zoe Bleu) and, by denying God, condemns himself to a cursed immortality. Centuries later, in nineteenth-century Paris, he finds the reincarnation of his wife in Mina. In the stellar cast, in addition to Matilda De Angelis in the role of Maria, also stands out Christoph Waltz in the role of an enigmatic priest, for a gothic fairy tale about eternal love.
