Ahmet is 15 years old and belongs to the Turkish-speaking Yoruk minority in North Macedonia. He would like to study, but above all he would like to dance to the rhythm of techno music.
However, his father withdraws him from school: he is needed to look after the sheep (who will end up invading a rave in a moment of distraction) and to his little brother who, since his mother’s death, refuses to speak.

Music is the key to overthrowing tradition according to the authorhere in his first film (awarded at Sundance): there is no need for an arranged marriage for the girl Ahmet has fallen in love with. And the rebellion comes from the same microphones from which the muezzin sings his song every morning.
