Blanca Ferrando is back. The visually impaired consultant who works at the San Teodoro police station in Genoa is grappling with new investigations, secrets and personal changes.

An unexpected pregnancy torments her, while her trusted colleague Liguori is about to move and Domenico Falena appears in his life, a contractor with a dark past in Ukraine who has come to Genoa to look for his son who he believes is still alive.

The third season of the series follows the tried and tested pattern of the previous successesmixing vertical lines with episode cases on which Blanca works with the usual irony together with the team, and a horizontal line which in this case is loaded with complex emotional situations to manage.

The strength of Blanca is given by a mixture of elements: firstly, Maria Chiara Giannetta has grown a lot over the seasons arriving at full maturity and a lively and authentic interpretation of disability; the direction, in this third season signed by Nicola Abbatangelo, confirms himself as original in reproducing the perspective of the blind detective, who amplifies the other senses, managing to solve the cases; and, finally, the centrality of Genoa and the Ligurian Riviera, added protagonists with their views, elegant buildings, impenetrable alleyways.

For lovers of resolute and combative female detectives.
