Frank Lammers believes that not only FC Den Bosch player El Bakkali, but the entire selection of the club should appear in a pink rabbit suit. He said this in the Ni Na Lammers podcast. The reason for this is a fun punishment training at the Den Bosch club.
FC Den Bosch has a kind of wheel of fortune in the dressing room, says co-host Nina van den Broek in the episode. “If you have done something that you did not quite intend, you have to change it. El Bakkali ended up with: wearing a pink bunny suit for the entire training.”
According to the actor, the idea is nice, but it doesn’t really work so far. “You would expect that it should strengthen the team spirit. But after last weekend’s heavy 6-0 defeat, he sees room for expanding the ‘rabbit concept’.”
The match was more than embarrassing, according to Lammers, and so he has an idea. “I would like to appeal to El Bakkali colleagues to all appear in a rabbit suit at the next training in solidarity, to do penance together.”
