Last year the ADEV demonstrators danced for the right to demonstrate, in 2023 against the housing crisis and this year against fascism, oppression and exclusion.
Yet every demonstrator seems to have their own reason for dancing at the ADEV protest this year. “I dance for a better society,” says one woman. The message of the demonstration was not clear to everyone: “I come here to dance for something, I just don’t know what for yet.”
The procession went dancing from Dam Square towards the Flevopark.
