Only 18 percent of voters are already sure of their vote choice, according to a poll by Ipsos I&O on Saturday. That is less than the percentage a week before the previous House of Representatives elections, two years ago, when 26 percent had already made a choice.

However, more than half of voters (55 percent) have a clear preference for a party, the rest (45 percent) have more doubts.

According to Ipsos I&O, 76 percent of eligible voters say they will definitely go to the polls. That is slightly lower than a week before the previous House of Representatives elections, when 79 percent already knew this for sure.

The seat poll itself shows that there are still many parties that can become the largest party on Wednesday. Frontrunners PVV, GroenLinks-PvdA, D66 and CDA are separated by a maximum of six seats at Ipsos I&O and the VVD follows not far behind. It is clear: now that many voters are not yet sure about their vote, a lot can still happen in the coming days.

NRC does not report on the exact change in seat numbers based on one poll.
