Bundesliga club SCR Altach has signed a second player without a club after Blendi Idrizi: Tino Casali is moving to Rheindorf. The 29-year-old from Carinthia was recently without a contract after his working contract with German second division club Eintracht Braunschweig was not extended in the summer. The goalkeeper was already involved in Altach between 2020 and 2023, when he played 63 competitive games for the Ländleklub.
The Vorarlbergers recently had to struggle with a bottleneck in the goalkeeper position, and after injuries to Daniel Antosch and Paul Piffer, goalkeeper coach Martin Kobras recently had to be reactivated as a player.
Sports director Philipp Netzer said about Casalis’ return: “In Tino we have found a goalkeeper who already knows the club very well. Tino not only brings quality and experience, but also the right character to support us.”
