The Queen Mother of Thailand Sirikits has died.
Sirikit was 93 years old when he died. The news agency Reuters and The New York Times (NOW).
Sirikit got blood poisoning about a week ago, the palace informs. According to the palace, the Queen Mother died peacefully late on Friday.
Sirikit had been hospitalized for several illnesses since September 2019.
Sirikit’s son is the current King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn.
