The penthouse in Segrate – 285 square meters on two levels, with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, terraces and garages – is the same in which Raimondo Vianello and Sandra Mondaini lived until their passingin 2010.

As reported by Corriere della Serathe CEO of Mfe-Mediaset paid 1.45 million euros in bank draftsafter a 100 thousand euro deposit paid last year. All cash, no mortgage. The decision, explains the newspaper, arises from an emotional bond: that house represents a piece of Berlusconi’s personal and professional historybut also a gesture of memory towards two faces who, for years, have embodied the spirit of his television. Furthermore, the apartment it borders another Pier Silvio property used for family purposes. A detail that also confirms “practical-logistical” reasons.

Casa Vianello sold by former servants

They were the ones who sold the penthouse Pedro Edgardo Magsino and Rosalie EscarezgThe couple’s former Filipino servants, who inherited all of Raimondo and Sandra’s assets in 2010. Their sons John Mark (34) and Raimond (29) also grew up with them in that house. As Rosalie told the weekly magazine years ago Today: «Sandra was specifically asking for a couple with a young child, willing to live here. John Mark was just six months old and we were together, and in their service, for twenty years.”

A bond that has become almost familial. In Rosalie’s social profiles, the photos with her “uncles” tell of authentic affection. In 1996 the couple’s second child, named their own, was born Raymondin homage to Vianello.

When Raimondo Vianello died in April 2010, he left everything to his wife Sandra. But a few months later she also left, changing her will and naming her name universal heirs the Magsinos. A choice which, at the time, had surprised the blood relatives who, however, respected the wishes.

Today the Magsinos own five apartments in Milanincluding the one in via Durini, once the home of Raimondo and Sandra, and a property in Gorgonzola. They also sold the house in Switzerland, in Crans-Montana.
