The Dutch board sports brand Protest Sportswear is opening two new outlet stores. One is in Salzburg, Austria, the other in Ochtrup, Germany, just over the border near Enschede. Both are located in McArthurGlen outlet centers.

With this expansion, Protest wants to “get closer to its customers and offer fans of outdoor and winter sports clothing a direct shopping experience,” the company writes in a press release.

The reopening is related to the expansion of Protest’s presence in Europe.

Protest Sportswear was founded in the Netherlands in 1993 and is headquartered in Warmond/The Hague. Originally focused on snowboard clothing, the brand soon expanded its range to include surf, beachwear, streetwear and outdoor for men, women and children.
