Spectacular find: 70 million year old egg of ‘ancestor of the bird’ discovered

Argentinian paleontologists have made a sensational discovery in the province of Río Negro: a 70 million year old dinosaur egg, which is also in almost perfect condition. The find, believed to be of a Bonapartenykus – a rare carnivorous species – is causing great excitement in the scientific world. Researchers even hope to find traces of genetic material.
