The 12-year-old daughter of Nancy from Rijsenhout now dares to go out on the street again, but her sense of safety has been significantly affected. Last Monday she was harassed by a man in a dark blue car on her way to visit a friend.
“She always shares her location, so that I can see where she is walking. Suddenly I saw that she was not with her friend, but with her friend’s grandmother. A little later she called me upset,” says Nancy.
The girl sees the man looking at her from his car that afternoon. As she crosses the road, he slowly drives next to her. “Do you want to fuck me?” he asks her. “She then started running in the opposite direction, so that he had to turn around first if he wanted to follow her. Her friend’s grandmother’s house was nearby.”

Nancy drove around the neighborhood that evening – and the evenings after – looking for the man, but she was unable to find him. When she posts her story in a closed Facebook group, she is shocked. The stories of parents whose children have experienced something similar are pouring in.
With a number of children, the man went one step further: “He drove next to my daughter and was jerking off,” says another mother. The daughter of Nancy’s cleaning lady also experienced this.
“She was also spoken to and saw his penis. I’m glad my daughter was spared that.” The man’s behavior has a significant impact on the young girls. “I slept in my daughter’s bed for two nights and she didn’t dare go outside anymore,” says Nancy.

That is why the parents hope that the man will be arrested quickly. They think it is one person, because the descriptions given by the children of their attacker are very similar. It concerns a white man with medium-length hair and a cap. He drives around in a dark blue car.
The police confirm to NH that they have received two reports from a trespasser. This concerns children who have been addressed with dishonorable requests or have been shown their genitals. The local police officer monitors the situation.
