Storm Benjamin has left its mark in various places. This is the case on the beaches in Bredene, Blankenberge and Middelkerke, where high cliffs were formed. “When I went to take my daily weather photo on Friday morning, I was able to capture some striking images,” says Middelkerken resident Johan Töpke. Alderman Henk Dierendonck (LDD): “After the weekend, municipal employees will work with a contractor to remove these cliffs.”
