Iris (20) makes hand gestures for emergencies better known: ‘We had to do something for the safety of women’

Together with three fellow students, Iris van Lenten (20) draws attention to a social problem: women’s safety. They want to make a hand gesture, with which someone can silently ask for help, better known in our society. “I hope everyone will pay more attention to each other and look around better.”
