There is still a strong wind near the coast of Camperduin this morning. The water gushes far below Prince George’s beach bar. According to beach explorer Marco Snijders, ‘it’s not too bad’. “The wind did not blow harder than wind force 8,” he says.
That is less harsh than a few weeks ago, when storm Amy reached our coast. Also beach tent Prince George was then hit hard by the storm. Snijders now sees that the sand became the beach tent after that storm supplemented, has now completely disappeared.
