Musician Bad Bunny is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl in February. US President Donald Trump made his displeasure clear, and the head of the NFL has so far stuck to the program.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell defended plans for the halftime show at the league’s fall reception. “Bad Bunny is one of the most popular entertainers in the world”said Goodell. “We want to get artists like that. The choice is carefully thought out.”
The official also referred to past performances – various artists had also performed there in advance “Backlash or criticism” caused.

Bad Bunny wants to sing in Spanish at the Super Bowl

Trump had chosen Bad Bunny for the mega event as “absolutely ridiculous” designated. Trump, who regularly clashes with the NFL, had publicly announced that he had “never” heard from Bad Bunny. “I don’t know who that is”said the US President. “I don’t know why the NFL is doing this. This is crazy”.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, had already drawn the ire of the right after declaring that he would skip the United States from his concerts during his world tour due to fears of immigration raids.
