But that’s not the point yet. “Today we see calm weather,” said the weatherman. It has cleared up quite a bit now. This will remain the case, although there may be a few showers later today. It will be about 15 degrees.
It will rain heavily tonight and tomorrow morning. Later on Thursday morning the showers will disappear and the sun can even be seen occasionally. At the end of the afternoon and in the evening it will rain again, with a chance of thunder. The wind then comes from the south-southwest. Above land there will be wind force 5, on the coast it will be 7 to 8. So stormy.
Code yellow due to storm Benjamin
The storm, which the French weather services have named Storm Benjamin, will reach its peak late on Thursday evening and into the night into Friday. The wind then comes from the northwest and reaches wind force 9 on the coast. This is accompanied by heavy gusts of wind. Code yellow applies to our province between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m.
On Friday the wind will decrease somewhat, but the wind will still be strong. There is still a stormy westerly wind on the coast. There are heavy showers and it will be about 12 degrees.
Autumn weather on weekend
The weekend will also be autumnal: there will be a lot of showers, a lot of wind and the temperature will be 11 degrees.
