Trade union reacts baffled after dismissal of 3 Brussels Airlines flight attendants who refused to fly after reporting “pests on board”

Three highly experienced flight attendants, with a combined 77 years of service, were summarily dismissed when they refused to fly after reports of possible vermin on board. One of the women even became physically unwell after being accused of “insubordination”. The unions speak of brutal intimidation that undermines an essential safety principle in aviation: “If we take this to court, we will win by the skin of our teeth.”
