Jeremy Allen White’s renditions of nine Bruce Springsteen classics will be featured on the official soundtrack to the upcoming biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. It will be released digitally as well as on CD and vinyl on December 5th.

The tracklist primarily includes songs from Springsteen’s 1982 classic, “Nebraska,” as the film revolves around the making of that LP. White also recorded some songs from “Born in the USA” (1984), the successful follow-up to “Nebraska”, including the title track and “I’m on Fire”.

Rounding out the soundtrack are renditions of two blues and early rock ‘n’ roll standards that Springsteen has covered in the past: Little Richard’s “Lucille” and John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom.” Interestingly, there is also a performance of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ “I Put a Spell on You,” which there is no record of Springsteen ever performing in public.

The soundtrack for “Deliver Me From Nowhere” was produced by Dave Cobb. Contributors include Rival Sons singer Jay Buchanan, Greta Van Fleet’s Jake and Sam Kiszka, bassist Aksel Coe and keyboardist Bobby Emmett. (These musicians are credited alongside White for renditions of “Lucille,” “Boom Boom,” and “I Put a Spell on You.”)

“Deliver Me From Nowhere” hits theaters on October 23rd, and five songs from the soundtrack will also be released the day after: “Nebraska,” “Atlantic City,” “Mansion on the Hill,” “I’m on Fire” and “Born in the USA.”

Alongside White, Jeremy Strong plays Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau. The cast also includes Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffman, Marc Maron and David Krumholtz. “Deliver Me From Nowhere” was written and directed by Scott Cooper, based on the book of the same name by Warren Zanes.
