An unlikely fairy tale story from last year has a dramatic ending today. After Antwerp mail sorter Nana Agyei Dankwa went to a funeral in his home country Ghana last year, he returned home as king of the Akomenu tribe with no fewer than two million subjects. His intention was to continue working in Belgium until retirement, but the Ghanaian community in Antwerp reports that Nana has suddenly died. “He was king in Ghana, but what he did in Belgium as an ordinary citizen was perhaps even more important.”
