NoThere is no one left to protect him. Without Queen Elizabeth, the world of Prince Andrew is crumbling at a speed he probably didn’t expect. And even Charles, the brother king who would like to spare him further humiliation, can now do little to protect him from the threatening chorus of protests – led by the implacable William – that is rising from the British people. Thanks to a series of emails that prove how the former duke lied about the date on which he claimed to have stopped all contact with the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein; and that Nobody’s Girlthe memoir of his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, out tomorrow in Great Britain and full of revelations that will be difficult to defend against.
Prince Andrew is no longer Duke of York
The first step taken by Charles – pushed by his son William – was to convince his brother to renounce using the title of Duke of York and all the other titles conferred on him over the years. The dukedom, in reality, still remains his, as the process for permanent withdrawal – carried out with a Act of Parliament, a parliamentary act introduced by the two houses at Westminster and approved by the king – it’s quite complicated, but Andrea promised in an official statement that from now on it will refrain from using it.
William demands a heavier punishment for his troublesome uncle
This is not enough, however, neither for William nor for the British people. Both are calling for a more rigid stance from the monarch, with disastrous consequences for the House of York, a title which, according to British Royal watchers, it should have been inherited by Prince Louis but which is now unlikely to be used in the future.

Will Andrea no longer be a prince?
When, in a heartfelt television interview, Sky Roberts, Giuffre’s brother, invited King Charles III to also take away the title of prince from AndreaBritish social media erupted in a chorus of approval. As the son of a queen, the title of prince rightfully belongs to Andrew, yet there is nothing stopping Charles from withdrawing it. It’s a long and intricate process, but not impossible. And even if the king would like to spare his brother this further humiliation, William, much more in tune with the British people, puts pressure on. So much so that he even decided to exclude his uncle from his future coronation.
This is how Andrea could say goodbye to the title of prince
Under the brutal influence of his heir son, the king could therefore decide to proceed with the very rare removal of the title of prince (it hasn’t happened since 1919) and to resort to a special document, the Letters Patent. In 1996, Queen Elizabeth used it to prevent Lady Diana and Sarah Ferguson from using the post-divorce title His Royal Highness. This would be enough to initiate, in fact, the permanent withdrawal of a title that was thought to be untouchable. And if this happens, Harry, from distant California, will no longer be able to sleep peacefully. Even his title as prince will be in danger.
The revenge of Virginia Giuffre
She committed suicide last April, Virginia Giuffre – who had accused Andrea of sexual abuse starting in 2001when the girl was just seventeen and therefore still a minor – did not spare revelations in her book: «Andrea thought that being a Royal gave him the right to have sex with me» wrote Giuffre. And a particular episode caught the attention of those responsible for the Metropolitan Police of London, now forced to investigate.

Andrea had tried to ruin Virginia Giuffre
In 2011, before the world even knew about the famous photo of the prince and his fiancée Ghislaine Maxwell in the company of a very young Giuffre, Andrea had tried to convince one of his bodyguards – belonging to the British police, and therefore paid by taxpayers – to discover personal information about Giuffre, helping him to somehow throw mud on the accuser. He had even given the policeman the girl’s date of birth and social security number.
In the sights of the British police
For the English this is unforgivable. Despite having lied in the controversial interview given to BBC in 2019 (at the time the queen mother was forced to surrender to the evidence and took away all Royal duties from her third son – her favorite son), Andrea Windsor continues to declare herself innocent of everything. But now he becomes the first modern Royal to be officially placed under investigation by the authorities.
Sarah Ferguson is no longer Duchess of York
The English newspapers ran the headline: «Poor Sarah!». Due to her ex-husband renouncing the title of Duke, Ferguson now ceases to be Duchess of York. And recent revelations about her personal ties to Epstein haven’t helped. The former duchess also lied about her friendship with the American billionaire, who appears to have come to her aid several times over the years, granting her several financial loans.
In an email Sarah apologized for calling him a pedophile, and this immediately convinced all the charities she was associated with to put an end to the collaboration. And she who, after successful novels, children’s books and film productions, had set her sights on a career as a television presenter, now he sees the dream perpetually blurred.

The fall of the House of York
The future for York now remains quite uncertain, including that of Beatrice and Eugenia“guilty” by association. The working Royal role, alongside Charles and William, which they had hoped for after Elizabeth’s death, is increasingly receding. There is even talk of voluntary exile for Andrea and Sarah, who in the meantime has promised to remain close to her ex-husband. The two are excluded from every public event, from every family celebration, including Christmas at Sandringham. And they may soon find themselves homeless.
Andrea, the ruined and possibly exiled former duke
Andrea has no longer received a perk since 2019, upon his retirement from life at court. Since then, his finances have been a constant problem: he has no income, he can only rely on a small inheritance left to him by his mother (the bulk went to the king), his brother has no longer helped him since last year, and the media has mentioned suspicious deals conducted with shady characters linked to the Middle East. All he has left is the home of Royal Lodgebut until when?
Where will Prince Andrew end up?
The vast home of Royal Lodge (over 30 rooms), located a spit from Windsor Castle and shared with the former Sarah, could be taken from him by the Crown. The English protest, in fact, at the idea that Andrew, arrogant and womanizing prince, may he spend the rest of his days as a privileged pensioner, continuing to have access to a life of luxury and spending his days riding, hunting and golfing in the peace of Windsor. But if he goes into exile, the former duke will choose a place where he has several friends, such as Dubai. And a life of luxury awaits him there too.
