Seven years after his last concert in Italy, theUnipol Forum in Milan welcomed the pop star’s triumphant return with his own Mayhem Ball Tour. A’pop opera divided into acts which mix gothic style, noir and fairytale atmosphere, transforming each song into a small theatrical show.«I may be a lot of things, but inside I’m still who you knew then» the pop star said to the audience at the beginning of the concert. Then he added proudly: «My name is Stefania Joanne Angelina Germanotta».

Mayhem Ball Tour, a pop opera in five acts

The Mayhem Ball Tour it’s not just any concert: it’s an immersive, melting experience music, theater and visual art. The show is structured in documents: dto the most iconic pop to the darkest gothic, every moment is curated as one scene from a moviewith choreographies, sets and plays of light. Music is an emotional and sonic journey that ranges between genres and atmospheres. A visionary pop, steeped in dance, electronic, rock and soul, capable of alternating moments of pure energy with intimate and heartbreaking ballads. The opening of the work is spectacular: Gaga appears in two versions of herself, a blonde and a brunette – joined on stage by her dark counterpart – la Mistress of Mayhem. Then the magic takes shape with giant skulls, dancing skeletons and dancers trapped in steel structures. Each costume is a small masterpiece.

With two and a half hours of show, 30 songs and an impressive stage production, Lady Gaga confirms that she is among the most visionary and complete performers on the world scene. The lineup is a journey between great successes and unexpected surprises.
