A man died from CO poisoning on Sunday evening in the Doolhofstraat in Aalst, East Flanders. A worried friend raised the alarm when he could no longer reach the man by phone. Emergency services arrived on the scene and found the victim lifeless in his apartment. “Having your gas boiler checked is an absolute necessity,” says the fire brigade.
