A man (40) was taken off the road in Zundert on Sunday evening after driving under the influence of alcohol. He had drunk an exceptional amount, reports the Zundert police officer. He blew 1750 Ugl, as a driver the alcohol content may not exceed 220 Ugl.
220 Ugl is approximately two glasses of alcohol. The police received a report around eight o’clock on Sunday evening from an alert road user who saw the driver weaving across the road. A few minutes later, officers saw the car stopped on Stouwdreef in Klein-Zundert, the driver, a Romanian man, was still in the car.
They immediately saw that the driver was heavily under the influence and he was taken to the police station for an extensive alcohol test. The man finally blew 1735 Ugl. “An exceptionally high score!”, said the police.
His driver’s license is confiscated and he receives a report. The CBR is also reported.
