There was no Peter Pannekoek to be seen in Carré this year, but according to many, Chantal Janzen did the honors well at the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala. She tried to match Peter’s comic talent by starting with an imitation of Fleur Agema, and then lashed out at Today Inside in a sharply intended song.
Pointy Chantal
Marcel van Roosmalen thinks Chantal is a bit of an act in herself. “I come home and there is a singing Chantal Janzen on TV, who had all kinds of funny pointed references. She thought she was coloring outside the lines. To be honest, I thought it stayed exactly within the coloring page,” he sneers. What a day.
