As presenter of the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala, Chantal Janzen did not impress Marcel van Roosmalen. The opinion maker believes that she acts very brazenly. “Within the lines.”
There was no Peter Pannekoek to be seen in Carré this year, but according to many, Chantal Janzen did the honors well at the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala. She tried to match Peter’s comic talent by starting with an imitation of Fleur Agema, and then lashed out at Today Inside in a sharply intended song.
Pointy Chantal
Marcel van Roosmalen thinks Chantal is a bit of an act in herself. “I come home and there is a singing Chantal Janzen on TV, who had all kinds of funny pointed references. She thought she was coloring outside the lines. To be honest, I thought it stayed exactly within the coloring page,” he sneers. What a day.
Colleague Gijs Groenteman: “Yes, it is like this with Chantal Janzen: someone once told her that she is not only beautiful and can sing very well, but that she also has a lot of nice ironic humor and she makes full use of that.”
Overestimation
Johan Derksen also responds; Chantal thinks a bit too much. He especially finds his parody of the NPO complaint that Agema made to Pauw & De Wit easy. “I think she’s starting to overestimate herself a bit. To make fun of Fleur Agema in a song like that… Look, that Fleur Agema, I’ve seen it…”
He continues in Today Inside: “That Joop van den Ende was talking nonsense and preaching to his own parish and that Agema said something about it. He seems holy, that Joop van den Ende with his chatter, dude. Tiring man!”
