Millionaire heir and former Espoo Blues owner Jussi Salonoja says Ilta-Sanomthat almost all his property is gone.
He describes the pension nest egg, which is the subject of a legal battle in Thailand, as his “last support”.
Salonoja sued its Thai business partner in spring 2021 for breach of contract. At the same time, the business partner sued Salonoja after he claimed that Salonoja had falsified government documents.
With the settlement of the court, the three apartments that were the subject of the dispute were transferred to the ownership of the partner in 2023. Salonoja, on the other hand, was allowed to be kept by the companies and the five houses owned by them.
Salonoja tells IS that he sold two of them.
According to Salonoja, the other three are in such bad condition that they are untenable. Therefore, Salonoja filed a new lawsuit. Salonoja received compensation of 70,000 euros, but the case has been contested and its processing is still ongoing.
– I lost three of my valuable houses in court. I think I was cheated and lost around one million euros, Salonoja tells IS.
