National motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoğlu could not complete the race in the Superpole race of the last stage of the 2025 World Superbike Championship (WSBK) in Spain, as a result of being hit by his closest rival Nicolo Bulega.
In the 12th and last leg of the season in WSBK, the Superpole race was run at the 4,423 kilometer long Jerez Circuit, located in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, south of Seville.
Red Bull athlete Toprak Razgatlıoğlu started the 10-lap Superpole race of the weekend with the ROKiT BMW Motorrad team from the first place.
The national motorcyclist overtook his closest rival, Italian Nicolo Bulega from the Aruba Ducati team, for the championship in the first round and took the race leadership, when his rival crashed into Toprak with his motorcycle. Toprak was left off the track after his engine crashed.
With this result, Toprak, who needs only 3 points for being in the top 7 in this race for the 2025 world championship, left the championship to the main race to be run today at 15.00 Turkish lira.
While the audience reacted to Bulega after the race, they cheered in favor of Toprak Razgatlıoğlu.
Turkish Motorcycle Federation National Teams Captain Kenan Sofuoğlu watched the Superpole race in Jerez of the national motorcyclist, who was preparing for the races, from the center with the team.
