The Emilian rider of the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team triumphs solo with an advantage of over three seconds over the BMW standard-bearer, postponing the Turkish celebration to Sunday’s Superpole Race

TO Nicolò Bulega a victory was needed, the twelfth of the season, on the Jerez track to prevent Toprak Razgatlioglu to win, already in race 1, his third world title in Superbike. And so it was. The Emilian rider of the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team triumphed alone with an advantage of over three seconds over the BMW standard-bearer, postponing the Turkish celebration to the Superpole Race on Sunday 19th. Razgatlioglu’s lead over Bulega has dropped to 34 points. Nicolò had a good race, decided immediately at the start thanks to the Superpole won in the morning. Razgatlioglu is very fast, he seems to come out on top at the first corners, but he makes a small mistake which allows the young Ducati rider to dart away and start to accumulate precious seconds. Toprak had to settle for second place ahead of a combative rider Alvaro Bautistaauthor of a good comeback starting from mid-race when he was in sixth position. Box number four for the Panigale V4 R of Andrea Iannone, Team Pata Go Eleven, followed by the Honda of the Spaniard Xavi Vierge and the Bimota of the Englishman Alex Lowes. Andrea Locatelli’s official R1 was seventh, Australian Remy Gardner of the Gytr Grt Yamaha team was eighth, Tarran Mackenzie, Mgm Bonovo Racing, ninth, and the Dutchman Michael van der Mark, Rokit Bmw Motorrad WorldSbk Team, completed the top ten. Eleventh Axel Bassani, Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, thirteenth Yari Montella, Barni Spark Racing Team, nineteenth was his teammate Niccolò Spinelli, twentieth Michael Ruben Rinaldi. Alessandro Delbianco is out of action, replacing the injured Dominique Aegerter aboard the Grt team Yamaha.
