The 76-year-old serial killer Claudy Pierret, nicknamed “the monster of the Waasland”, died on Thursday in Merksplas prison. This has been confirmed to Het Nieuwsblad, the newspaper wrote on Friday. Pierret has been convicted of two femicides and linked to two more femicides.
