After the fake G-Class comment, Mili Umicevic apologizes to Luna Rabea and PA Sports
After the drama surrounding Luna Rabea’s Mercedes G-Class with a fake Brabus package, which caused a stir on the Internet in the past few days, Mili Umicevic is now apologizing to the influencer in a video. She takes responsibility for her comment and the public conflict it caused.

Brabus scandal: Official apology to Luna Rabea
“It took some time to talk about this topic,” says Mili Umicevic. Dressed in black, against a white background, she sits on a chair and speaks to the camera in brief, direct words: “I reacted emotionally in a situation in which I should have remained calm and professional.”
What is meant is her comment under an Instagram photo by Luna Rabea. The influencer posed there in front of a Mercedes G-Class that was supposedly tuned by Brabus and that she had received as a birthday present from her husband, the German rapper PA Sports. “Rocket rims? Unfortunately, the vehicle is not ours. Sorry to say, but your husband bought you a fake Brabus,” commented the director of Brabus VIP Relations on October 9th. This was followed by the recommendation to visit the company in person to buy a real Brabus.
Her tone was perceived as condescending and arrogant. Discussions quickly developed between Luna Rabea and Mili Umicevic – initially in the comments column, later in Instagram stories and private chats.
Meanwhile, Brabus CEO and Umicevic’s fiancé Constantin Buschmann apologized personally via the company’s official account. YouTuber Omid tried to defuse the conflict with more neutral reporting, while PA Sports used the uproar as a marketing strategy to tease his new song Do You Believe Me?
Mili Umicevic: Emotional and protective
After days of media attacks and accusations that she had damaged the image of the luxury tuning brand, Umicevic is now turning to the public again and officially apologizing to everyone involved. In the video it seems to be clear that the topic is difficult for her: at the bottom of the picture you can see how she plays with her hands as if she were nervous. And who would blame her? Luna Rabea herself emphasized in a live stream with PA Sports that it was unfair for the network to attack someone who had already been attacked. But the internet sought retaliation – and as PA Sports noted, if Umicevic had apologized earlier, the comment would probably never have become a scandal.
Umicevic is now making up for this with her new video on Instagram and TikTok. She apologizes to Luna, PA Sports and the Brabus team for her handling of the situation: “I was emotional when I should have been calm and professional,” she admits. She knows that her words under Luna’s post were wrong: “I wanted to protect something that is very important to me – the Brabus team and the brand.”
Umicevic acknowledges that her tone and subsequent reaction in story posts and open hostilities were inappropriate and takes full responsibility for how the scandal unfolded.
Brabus: Brand image damaged?
The Bottrop-based company Brabus has specialized in tuning and building high-performance versions of Mercedes-Benz models for decades. The vehicles are particularly popular in the USA – among stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Drake. In 2023 alone, the company is expected to have generated sales of over 150 million euros.
“The popularity of the brand is something we are proud of,” said Brabus CEO Constantin Buschmann in an interview with “WAZ” on October 13th. At the same time, Brabus has a big problem with “free riders with criminal energy” who try to copy the company’s products. Mili Umicevic saw the Brabus fake – which neither PA Sports nor Luna Rabea knew about – as an attack on the integrity of the brand and its team and felt obliged to defend it.
Happy ending is still pending
After the whole argument, Umicevic seems to have learned from her mistakes. She writes under her video: “I know that I reacted wrongly in this situation. I want to learn from it – and do better in the future.” Anticipating that the internet might also interpret this video negatively, she adds: “This is not an attempt to explain anything.”
The apology is largely well received by her fans and Brabus supporters. Many people praise their move and point out the disproportionate reactions online. One person commented: “I think she’s suffering enough… Mistakes can happen, and there really are worse things than what was… So please, let it go!”
Luna Rabea and PA Sports have not yet commented on the apology video – perhaps Mili Umicevic has actually ended the Brabus scandal with her words.
