One of those guys is Nordin Bukala. He was also born and raised in Utrecht. “A special match. I left there with a good feeling. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out at that moment. I’m happy that I’m here now and playing well,” says Bukala.
Fixed starting position won
Bukala has now become a permanent fixture in Kruys’ team. Only in the first match of the season against SC Heerenveen (1-1) Bukala was not in the starting line-up. “I didn’t expect that. I’m just twenty and you don’t expect to play in the starting line-up in the Premier League. I’ve been waiting for my chance, but I’ll give it one hundred percent,” says Bukala.
