The sustainable textile manufacturer Pangaia has a new management structure. For the first time in the company’s history, the company appointed a Group Chief Executive Officer on Friday. Pangaia announced that Krishna Nikhil will assume the new management post on April 1. The appointment signals “the beginning of a new phase in the company’s growth and impact,” according to a statement.

Nikhil comes from Canadian online fashion retailer Ssense, where he was Chief Merchandising Officer & Chief Marketing Officer. Overall, the designated CEO can look back on more than twenty years of professional experience with customer-centric companies, explained Pangaia.

In his new role at Pangaia, Nikhil will “work closely with the company’s founding members and global teams to support the development of materials science innovations, entry into new categories and expansion of digital and physical platforms,” ​​the textile supplier explained.
