The report of the stabbing came in around 7:40 p.m. Emergency services arrived to find a seriously injured man in the home. Resuscitation was of no avail: he died on the spot.
The suspect was arrested in the street. Much is still unclear about the identity of both the victim and the suspect, and about what exactly happened in the home.
The police have cordoned off part of the street for investigation and are calling on witnesses to come forward. The investigation team would also like to receive images from before, during or after the incident — for example from security cameras, dashcams or video doorbells.
