What should have been a peaceful demonstration against the possible arrival of an asylum seeker center degenerated into complete chaos and violence in the center of Houten on Tuesday evening. Extreme right-wing groups waved the Prince’s flag here, some gave the Hitler salute and riot youth set off fireworks and pelted the police with them. He made several arrests.
